- Make sure Halo: The Master Chief Collection isn’t running.
- Download the HxD editor.
- Make your way to this directory: steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\MCC\Content\Paks.
- Open MCC-WindowsNoEditor.
- Press Ctrl+G.
Does Halo Reach MCC have Forge?
Instead of the original workaround of downloading a Halo Forge mod, you can now play the mode in all three games released in the Master Chief Collection so far. (PC) Forge is now available for Halo: Reach, Halo 2: Anniversary, and Halo 3.

Is there forge for Halo Reach on PC?
Unfortunately, Halo: Reach did not launch with Forge on PC. This means you will not be jumping in and designing your own experiences right away. That’s the bad news, but as promised there is good news. Thankfully, Forge is coming to Halo: Reach on PC, it’s just not ready yet.

These colours include lights on Forerunner objects, the interior dashboard lights of the Warthog and the paint of the Mongoose. What to do if your map is deleted in Forge?
Without selecting a new map in the Forge or Custom Game lobbies, play a custom game; this will ensure that the map is put into a player’s Temporary History, and can be accessed from there if the map does get “deleted”. Upload maps to their Fileshare; if a map is deleted, it can be downloaded from the Fileshare, thereby salvaging the map.
