Can you put a longer barrel on a Winchester SXP defender?
Unfortunately with the defender you can not add longer barrels due to the increased magazine capacity. You could get the black shadow series and add a longer barrel though.

The effective range of rifled slugs is considerably less than that of saboted loads. But most shots taken at woodland deer are within 100 yards. Using a rifled or full-bore slug is no disadvantage at this relatively close range, but only if you can place the slug where you want it.

The physics of the differing types of spin causes an erratic motion to be imparted upon the slug. Furthermore, the rifled slug could damage the rifled barrel.
Will Buckshot ruin a rifled barrel?
